SMOKEY POINT, WA— The Snohomish County FC Steelheads today announce that Head Coach Daghan “Dagi” Kesim has been named “Technical Director of Soccer” for the 2019 Western Washington Premier League Champions. Kesim will also continue in his role as Head Coach.
“Dagi is in charge of decision-making for the entire soccer side of the Steelheads,” says SnoCo FC General Manager David Falk. “This new title recognizes how much he means to our club and is a more accurate description of his involvement with Snohomish County FC.” Kesim has been with SnoCo FC since 2017 and led the club to an unbeaten league season and the WWPL title in 2019.
“I am proud to be a part of this organization especially since the arrival of David Falk,” Kesim states. “I enjoy working with people who follow through and are passionate.”
The Steelheads want to continue to expand their soccer mission in the County. Kesim knows this means growing the SnoCo FC family.
“I want to help to achieve a soccer culture for the program for the men and maybe for a women’s team in the future. I want to make sure all of our coaches follow the expectations to keep a pro level attitude. We want our players to learn and improve and go to the next level,” Kesim concludes.
There is more news coming from the Steelheads in the coming weeks.
