Steelheads say goodbye to a Championship Season

scudetto-2019_on_whiteMILL CREEK, WA— The Snohomish County FC Steelheads said goodbye to their 2019 Western Washington Premier League Championship Season with a gathering on Saturday August 24 at Delizioso European Bistro & Wine Bar. The club presented the highlight film “Gold Star Debut,” gave out player season awards, delivered the Coach’s Cup trophy and issued carved medals to  players and volunteer staff.

The night began with the showing of the 22-minute film “Gold Star Debut,” tracing the journey from open tryouts all the way to a previous post-season celebration. Then Head Coach Dagi Kesim presented the coaches awards to players for excellence during the season. You can view the certificates of those honored in this gallery.

Then Dagi was presented with the Coach’s Cup which he can keep and which of course will take up a proud position in his home. He gave a reflection about the season and what it means to him.
