History
The Steelheads and Narrows have actually met before. It was a match that Snohomish would rather forget, a comprehensive 4-0 Tacoma win at Goddard Stadium in Everett on June 10, 2018.

Common Opponent
The Steelheads and Narrows both hosted Tricities Alliance FC in non-league friendlies earlier in the month. Snohomish drew 0-0 with the Lions in Smokey Point. Tacoma went up 2-0 before giving up 3 second half goals in a 3-2 loss to the Lions.
Indoors
Over the winter Tacoma Narrows FC joined the Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL). They made the playoffs and along the way met up against some current Steelheads who were playing for the Snohomish Skyhawks. The Skyhawks swept the Narrows in their two WISL meetings.

Young
The Steelheads have some fresh new faces on their 2019 roster. This article takes a look at 5 guys under the age of 21 who are looking to make an impact on Saturday in Tacoma.
Poll Says
The WWPL ran an online poll for clubs and fans to vote for how they thought the 2019 season would go. The results predict a 5th place finish for the Steelheads and a 6th place ending for Tacoma Narrows FC. The top 6 clubs in the WWPL table at the end of the season will form a First Division in 2020.
