Gala FC Open Tryouts: A Clear Pathway for Boys and Girls to College and Beyond

MILL CREEK, WA— Gala FC will host open tryouts for 2005-2013 age groups for boys and girls this March 16, 17, 23 and 24. Players looking to get better should #getgala and get going towards a clear soccer pathway.

Jacen Stein is an example of what a player’s soccer journey can become at Gala FC. Stein helped win trophies with the older Gala guys, even as he was playing for the Snohomish County FC Steelheads in the elite adult Western Washington Premier League. Jacen’s journey is on a fast track as he spent just one year at Whatcom in the NWAC before earning a scholarship with the Western Washington University Vikings to play in the GNAC. Stein will face off against another Steelhead at some point— Cade Cooke (Kamiak High School) who is now a member of the Seattle Pacific Falcons Men’s soccer squad.

Girls can also see a plan in place as Gala FC forms a Pro Focus team for them to join alongside the Gala FC Pro Focus Men’s team. These teams bridge the pathway between elite youth and elite adult play, placing players at an advantage to make the Steelheads (Men) and Silvers (upcoming Women’s team) as SnoCo FC provides the highest level of soccer in the county.

Gala FC is led by Dagi Kesim, a tough but supportive critical thinker who returns the loyalty he gets from his players. You can read more about Kesim here.
