SMOKEY POINT, WA— Kojo Dadzie has made an instant impact in the Western Washington Premier League. The Crossfire Premier / Redmond High School / Brown University player has 6 goals and 3 assists in just 4 matches and is leading the resurgence of Snohomish County FC.
Kojo is a natural midfielder but he’s turning heads as a striker for Snohomish. He’s scored with his head, his feet and using his blazing speed and ball control. He’s converting his shots at an astounding rate.
Kojo debuted with a goal against Wenatchee on May 9. He followed that up with the match-winner against Nido Seattle on May 16. Next he scored a brace at Lacey on May 22. Most recently he repeated the feat with a brace at Nido Seattle on June 5. Dadzie is currently averaging 1.5 goals and .75 assists per match in the WWPL.
“Kojo is an amazing kid,” says Steelheads Technical Director of Soccer and Head Coach Dagi Kesim. “His parents have done so well in raising him. They must be proud. He’s a very talented player but remains humble, coachable and interested in getting better and having fun on the pitch.”
