Roster Refreshed

Head Coach Dagi Kesim is looking to his depth to form the 18-man roster that will tackle Federal Way on Saturday. In recent weeks defenders Karim Hanafy and Logen Flem have been ruled out for the season due to  injuries. Then last weekend forward Kyle Aure joined them on that unfortunate list. New players are arriving at nearly every training and some are making breakthroughs into the 18 this weekend.

Juan (Daniel) Luna is on the match roster. So is Blake Camilleri. Edgar Navarro returns. Watch for Alexis Regis Bohorquez not as a goalkeeper but rather as a field player. New goalkeeper Luke Brezak is also in the 18. On the WWPL Steelheads match roster for the first time is Agustin Domingo (cover photo). John Troka makes  his league debut as well.

Luna (forward) is an Inglemoor High School alum who played alongside the Steelheads’ stalwart middie Rio Alcorta in high school. Camilleri is from Australia and is back to join the Steelheads’ defensive midfield. Navarro (defensive middie)  is a Mariner alum who played at Edmonds CC. Brezak is an Overlake alum who is from Camano Island and RPI College. Domingo (Mariner HS) is a creative midfielder. Troka is a veteran defender (Kingston HS, Peninsula College) with counter-attacking skills.
