SnoCo FC’s Cooke, Swanson named NWAC All Stars

2019-wwpl-champions-starSMOKEY POINT, WA— The Snohomish County FC Steelheads are pleased to pass along the news that two of our 2019 WWPL Championship season defenders have made the All Star list in the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC.) Cade Cooke and Marcus Swanson were honored for their play in 2019.

Cade Cooke (Kamiak High School) was the captain and defensive leader for the Everett College Trojans. They made it into the playoffs before just missing the final weekend after an amazing penalty kick round in Pasco. Cooke has already been honored this year by the Steelheads as the club’s Newcomer / Rookie of the Year.

Marcus Swanson (Also from Kamiak High School, under head coach Kosta Pitharoulis) moved south to play for the Tacoma College Titans. TCC are still alive to win the NWAC. Marcus was a standout for the Fish in 2019, jumping in to play directly out of high school. This season with TCC he has played 17 matches, starting 15 of them for the unbeaten Titans.
