SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA— The Snohomish County Steelheads are literally building their elite adult men’s soccer club “one scarf at a time.”
The Orange and Black scarves, featuring the hexagon shape that is an important element in the Steelheads crest, are now on sale online. Go here to purchase one.
Each time a supporter purchases one of the custom 2018 Inaugural SnoCo FC Ruffneck Scarves the $25 fundraising price goes directly into funds needed to plan and pay for the current season.
“We know that $25 for a scarf for a small club like ours might seem a bit overpriced,” says Steelheads General Manager David Falk, “but when you think about how unique the scarf is (only 100 have been made) and you realize it is an important source of fundraising revenue for us, then hopefully soccer fans locally, nationally and even internationally will want to get one.”
FOUNDERS CLUB Members have already started getting their scarves. Along with being the first to be able to wrap a fish around their neck the Founders will also get lifetime entry into all Steelheads matches and can vote in a representative on the club board.
