SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA— Snohomish County Football Club is a much-needed component to soccer life in Snohomish County. Elite adult players need a place to compete at a statewide and regional level.
Right now the adult soccer scene in Snohomish County includes the upper age levels at youth clubs, the Olympic Soccer League, playing for schools in the NWAC and the Snohomish County Adult Soccer Association. Steelheads FC seeks to be the next step beyond all of these options for players who want to raise their careers.

EPLWA and USASA
The Evergreen Premier League is the league we are working to join some day. The EPLWA is one of only 13 leagues in the entire country designated as “Elite” Adult Amateur Leagues by the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). This means the level of play is high and includes very good players from future professionals to college to former professionals.
SnoCo without a 4-year college program
Snohomish County is the largest populated county in the USA (nearing 800,000 people) without a 4-year college. This means of course that we also do not have a 4-year college soccer program in the county. Instead, our local players must move away when they play at that level.
Steelheads FC can be a place where college players get more experience and exposure when they are home during the summer. We can also be a bridge for NWAC players to get training and playing time as they look for scholarships and transfers to 4-year schools.

Steelheads FC Head Coach Dagi Kesim is ready to help soccer careers advance. “I think it’s (playing in EPLWA) an opportunity for players to be seen at the top stage and be recognized. This could open their way to bigger college teams or even pro teams. I am willing to contact those coaches if the player has earned that with Steelheads FC.”
