Steelheads reveal 2019 home schedule

Snohomish County FC Steelheads-Primary-800SMOKEY POINT, WA— The Snohomish County FC Steelheads have revealed their 2019 slate of home matches to be played at Dick Cardinal Stadium (Lakewood High School) in Smokey Point. The schedule includes a visit from a Evergreen Premier League (EPLWA) side and five regular season Western Washington Premier League (WWPL) contests.

The home season begins on Saturday April 13 with a 3 PM kick off against Tri-Cities Alliance FC of the EPLWA.

The WWPL home season kicks off on Saturday May 4 as the Issaquah Gunners invade Smokey Point. They are followed along the way by Federal Way FC (May 18), Lacey Pocket Gophers (May 26), Puget Sound FC (June 16) and the home finale (July 13) versus the Grays Harbor Gulls.

Tickets

Tickets to all Steelheads matches are $5 General Admission (Age 6-under Free.) Cash or Credit Card payment options are available at the gate. Group discounts with speedy entry are possible by contacting the club at snocofc@gmail.com. Season passes are on sale for $20.00 in celebration of the club’s first season in regional play. Contact the Steelheads for details. (The Steelheads are a non-profit club. We consider ticket sales as ‘donations’ which help us pay for use of our fields and other related costs.)

Dick Cardinal Stadium

Dick Cardinal Stadium at Lakewood High School in Smokey Point is just a short drive off of I-5 and is also near a dining and retail area. The Steelheads are contracted to use the “away” stands, a set of uncovered bleachers nearest the stadium entrance. Fans are encouraged to bring seating pads and / or their own portable seats as there are paved areas open around the bleachers.

Concessions

The Steelheads plan to provide a modest concession table at matches which will include drinks and snacks along with club gear such as scarves, stickers and buttons. Watch on the club’s Facebook page during the season to vote for the ingredients to “Fish Food,” which will change from match to match.
