SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA— Snohomish County FC Steelheads will play the Bellingham United Reserves on Saturday June 17 at 5 PM at Phillips 66 Soccer Park in Bellingham. It will be the first match for the Fish since they held open tryouts at the beginning of June.
The Steelheads have been practicing at various spots around the county, hoping to eventually find a home base training field. Head Coach Dagi Kesim is working the guys hard to get into match shape and also working with them on some set plays.
SnoCo FC will face a Bellingham United Reserves side that has trained with and against the Hammers’ regular roster of players in the Evergreen Premier League. BUFC are currently second in the EPLWA table. The Hammers Reserves have played another new club in Washington, Tri-Cities Alliance FC, getting a 3-2 win back on May 20 at Phillips 66 Soccer Park.
