SNOHOMISH, WA—The Snohomish County FC Steelheads Women will host the Whatcom Waves in a pre-season indoor match on Sunday February 6 at 3 PM at the Snohomish Sports Dome. Tickets are half price for this match ($5 Adults, $3 Seniors and youth under 16. Under age 5 free.)
“I’m excited to get the players on the field and see them in a competitive match,” says Head Coach Sean Large. “I’m also hoping our fans come out and give us a true home-field experience!” Large is pleased so far with how things are going. “Training has been going great, but that is just going to make roster decisions that much harder – we have a lot of depth on the Steelheads Women.”
Regular Season Starts Feb. 12
The Northwest Premier League (NWPL) Indoor regular season begins when the Steelheads travel to Bremerton on February 12 to play the Oly-Pen Force. It’s the start of an 8-match season which features 4 home and 4 away.
The first regular season home match comes on Saturday February 19 when the Steelheads host the Tacoma Galaxy at 7 PM. See the full schedule below. Away match details to follow.
Home Steelheads Women matches will have “Theme Nights” to add to the fun. The various themes will be revealed soon.
