SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA—Snohomish County Football Club will play two friendlies and participate in a five-club jamboree in April as the 2018 season gets underway. The Steelheads will be away for matches in Aberdeen and Bellingham and will travel to Bremerton for the jamboree (Facebook Events Page.)
The challenge begins on Sunday April 15 when SnoCo FC travels to Aberdeen to face Grays Harbor Gulls FC at Stewart Field (see more on this match here.) The Gulls are part of the new Western Washington Premier League.
On Saturday April 21 SnoCo FC will travel to Bremerton for the Spring into the Season Jamboree hosted by Evergreen Premier League club Olympic Force at Gordon Field. Along with the Force and Steelheads the jamboree will also feature Bellingham United (EPLWA) and Grays harbor (WWPL) as well as Harbor Force (WWPL.) The SnoCo FC schedule of 30-minute matches is as follows: 1 PM – v. Harbor Force, 1:40 PM – v. Bellingham United, 5:40 PM – v. Grays Harbor Gulls, 6:20 PM – v. Olympic Force.
On Saturday April 28 the Steelheads will travel north to Bellingham to face the Hammers of BUFC at 6 PM at Phillips 66 Soccer Park. The match will be a stiff test for the guys from Snohomish as United are three-time indoor (WISL) Champions and finished just one point from the top of the table in the EPLWA in 2017.
