UPSTREAM UPDATE: Steelheads news and notes for March 31, 2018

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA—Welcome to the latest edition of “Upstream Update,”our way of sharing what is happening with Snohomish County Football Club with our community.

Patches

The Steelheads logo patches arrived this week. The iron-on patches have been applied to the 2018 orange jerseys and coaches shirts. They do a nice job of capturing the color. motion and texture of the Steelheads crest. See a few more photos below.

 

Orange Shirts

The Steelheads will wear their signature color in 2018 on match shirts that also arrived this week. The jerseys feature black action panel markings on the sides and black numbers on the backs. The players will wear black shorts and either black or white socks. The club hopes to get a shirt sponsor to purchase custom kits in the future. See a few photos below.

 

Schedule

The Steelheads will travel to Aberdeen to play Grays Harbor Gulls FC on Sunday April 15 at 1 PM. The following Saturday April 21 SnoCo FC will visit Bremerton for a Jamboree hosted by the Olympic Force of the Evergreen Premier League. The shortened matches will feature the Force, the Harbor Force and Grays Harbor Gulls of the WWPL, and also Bellingham United of the EPLWA.

Speaking of Bellingham United – the Steelheads and Hammers have agreed to play each other twice over a couple of weeks in late April and early May. The final details will be announced shortly, but the clubs plan to play Saturday April 28 in Bellingham at 6 PM and Sunday May 6 at Lakewood High School near Arlington at 3 PM. Watch for official confirmation of dates and times.
