Steelheads give their kits ‘The Hook’

SMOKEY POINT, WA— The Snohomish County FC Steelheads have claimed the front of their jerseys in the name of boosting their ever-growing social media presence. The club has revealed the “Social Hook” design which features the all-encompassing handle “@SnoCoFC” inside a giant curving fish-hook. Under the handle is the hashtag “GOFISH.” The design will feature on the front of the new Primary Orange and Hex Grey shirts designed by club partners Icarus FC.

“The hook is symbolic of catching attention and reeling in new fans and business partners,” says SnoCo FC General Manager David Falk. “The social media handle and hashtag are already being used to promote our club as we move up to regional play in the Western Washington Premier League.”

The Steelheads recently announced their 2019 home schedule to be played at Dick Cardinal Stadium in Smokey Point. The club remains on the look out for local businesses big or small to become partners and engage with the community.

“We are excited to order our uniforms and move on to the next phase of our operations side, hosting open tryouts and looking for partners to be Match Presenters for our seven home games,” Falk says.
