“We are really excited about our partnership with the Dome,” Falk says, “and we wanted to get in there to see what is happening to the place. We are happy to report that there are upgrades happening throughout the facility, from fresh paint to new floors to new amenities for players and fans.”
SnoCo FC dropped off a team logo orange flag, a vinyl banner, team scarves, buttons and stickers during the visit.
M’ily Morton greeted SnoCo FC on the club’s visit to the Sports Dome. The Fish delivered a team flag, vinyl banner, scarves and other swag to thank the new operators for their partnership.
Morton, along with Jamie Bialek, took over the former Snohomish Soccer Dome in July and immediately began remodel work. The building has operated as an indoor soccer arena for over 15 years. Recently it closed, but the group jumped in to keep it going. The Dome is part of a long history of indoor soccer in the county.
“It was great to meet M’ily and thank her in person for all of their efforts to revive this important piece of soccer in Snohomish,” says Falk. “This is a story of a community coming together to save a treasured sports meeting place.”
