SNOHOMISH, WA— The Snohomish Sports Dome reopened on Saturday August 15 with the start of a series of Soccer Tennis tournaments. Snohomish County Football Club fielded several teams, advancing one as far as the semifinals.
Rio Alcorta and Blake Camilleri represented the Fish on one team. Gunnar Stohl and Steven Moseley fielded a second tandem. Andrew Escalante and Danaia Stuck were a third pair connected to SnoCo FC. In the end Blake and Rio made it the farthest, being edged out in the semis.

It was a mix of competition and good fun, with Steelheads Technical Director of Soccer Dagi Kesim on hand to watch the action. He brought teams from youth club Gala FC as well. Breaks in the action for spectators included trips next door to Trails End Taphouse and Restaurant for drinks and food.
The winners of the first day were a team called “Big Mac Little Mac.” The Fish family congratulates them and thanks the Dome and Trails End for a much-needed return to soccer!
