“The Steelheads were contacted by Ballard FC and we were excited to work with them to see if a friendly match was possible,” says SnoCo FC General Manager Dorian Lair. “We really like the way they have launched their new club and we love connecting with local soccer.”
“This will be a big challenge for us,” says Head Coach and Tecnhical Director of Soccer Dagi Kesim. “in 2019 we traveled to Oregon to face the Timbers U23 of the same league, and we represented ourselves very well. We hope and expect to do the same this summer in Ballard.”
It’s going to be a party that weekend in Ballard as the community hosts its annual Ballard SeafoodFest. The Steelheads are happy to be featured on the soccer menu.
