Steelheads Women indoor tryouts provide building blocks for NWPLi team as season comes into focus

SNOHOMISH, WA—The Snohomish County FC Steelheads held open tryouts on January 6 and 9 at the Snohomish Sports Dome for the new Northwest Premier League Indoor (NWPLi) women’s team. 40+ players attended the sessions as Head Coach Sean Large and Assistant Corey Hendrickson evaluated.
The Steelheads were recently revealed as founding members of the NWPLi, which is taking over semi-pro indoor soccer for women from the WISL. The Snohomish Sports Dome will assist in managing team operations through owners M’ily Morton and Jamie French.

On Tuesday January 11th 26 players selected to continue training with the Steelheads were contacted via email. Also, players who registered for tryouts but were unable to make either date were issued invitations to attend training for a look.
