Steelheads Support Soccer Post Grand Opening

Soccer Post hosted their grand opening in partnership with Stefan Cleveland Goalkeeper for Seattle Sounders, West Coast Goalkeeping, Scotts Soccer Tots, and The Steelheads with one goal, community.

The event was set to kick off at 4:30-6:30, but well before, a large line was forming in the store an hour prior and Cleavland was more than excited to just get started. Courtesy of West Coast Goalkeeping & Soccer Post, Cleavland signed mini goalkeeper glove keychains, Player Post Cards, Jerseys, and more.

After the event, Steelheads President Dorian Lair, Soccer Post Owners Cheryl & Chris Rose, and Soccer Tots & Life’s a Kick Owner Scott Hall all got together for dinner sorting out plans for future events, partnerships, and ways to get the community involved and more connected. So stay tuned!

What’s Next?

The Steelheads will face partner club Gala FC on October 29th at 7:00 pm for their final pre-season friendly. Also next weekend, the Steelheads & Bellingham United are set to join each other for a closed-door practice & scrimmage session Sunday night to prepare for their respective seasons, both will first meet later on in the season, starting with The Steelheads hosting the Hammers on February 4th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale!

For the first match of the season, The Steelheads hits the road visiting Portland. Kick-off is 2:30 pm on November 5th at the Indoor Goals.
