Large, Hendrickson named coaches for new Steelheads Women indoor team

SNOHOMISH, WA—The Snohomish County FC Steelheads are excited to announce the new head coach and assistant coach for the Steelheads Women of the Northwest Premier League Indoor (NWPLi). The head coach will be Sean Large. He will have Corey Hendrickson as his assistant coach. Sean has been involved in many levels of soccer (see more below) including coaching at Woodinville High School and being President of the United Club, members of the Northshore Youth Soccer Association. Coach Kessler drops in at Snohomish Sports Dome, talks team play (video)

SNOHOMISH, WA—Snohomish County FC Men’s Indoor Soccer Head Coach Jim Kessler dropped in on a recent open session at the Snohomish Sports Dome. Kessler was named the first-ever Steelheads Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) gaffer recently after the Fish were awarded a team in the elite semi-pro indoor league. Kessler had a chance to speak at the session and stressed the philosophy of teamwork, family and having each other’s backs. SnoCo FC welcomes Jim Kessler as Head Coach of new WISL men’s team

SMOKEY POINT, WA— The Snohomish County Football Club is pleased to welcome local indoor soccer veteran Jim Kessler as the first Head Coach of the new Steelheads team in the Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL). Kessler is a Snohomish High School, Everett College and Western Washington University grad who helped get the original indoor Snohomish Skyhawks off the ground back in 2005.

Kesim keeps teaching online with Gala FC

MILL CREEK, WA–-The Covid 19 pandemic has halted soccer around the world. It’s up to clubs to reach out and stay connected with their players. Dagi Kesim is doing just that with youth side Gala FC as the founder of that club and Steelheads Technical Director of Soccer takes to the internet with live teaching sessions. Record-setting Steelheads Defense provided a Championship season

SMOKEY POINT, WA— One of the biggest compliments Steelheads Head Coach Dagi Kesim got during the 2019 Western Washington Premier League season was “your club is very organized.” More often than not the observation was first and foremost about the Snohomish County defense. WWPL Champion Coach’s Cup arrives

SMOKEY POINT, WA— The 2019 WWPL Champion Snohomish County FC Steelheads have received the Champion Coach’s Cup. It will be awarded to Head Coach Daghan “Dagi” Kesim in a future public gathering that will also include presentation of championship medals to Steelheads players. The 14 inch high silver chalice design was selected by Coach Kesim and comes from the same store that supplied the Cascadia Cup. It will eventually find a permanent home in Kesim’s residence as a reminder of his accomplishments with the club in 2019.
