SMOKEY POINT, WA— The Snohomish County FC Steelheads are gearing up to defend their Western Washington Premier League (WWPL) title with a fundraising drive called “5 for the Fish in February.” Five dollars each week in February (it’s a leap year!) equals a $25 donation to help our club and players.
“We are trying to offset the costs of field rentals and open tryout fees by launching this campaign,” says Steelheads General Manager David Falk. “We are a non-profit organization and we rely on our fans, families, local businesses and community to keep us kicking.”
You can donate weekly or all at once using a credit card here: Paypal Link.
Steelheads players will be contacting their friends, families and co-workers asking for donations. Any player getting 8 people to donate $25 each (or any total of $200) will have their 2020 Open Tryout fee waived!
When you donate, use the ‘notes’ field to mention the player you would like to credit.
