Steelheads Working with Icarus on New 2022 Kits

SNOHOMISH, WA—The Snohomish County FC Steelheads are collaborating with Icarus FC on new kits set to debut in the 2022 outdoor seasons. The Fish and Icarus have a partnership dating back almost as long as the club has been around. Now as SnoCo FC marks 5 years of existence, “Tackle” and “Molten Hex” kits will join the ranks of previous designs “Steelhead Orange,” “Hex” and “Magenta Hex.”

“We are really hyped to continue working with Icarus,” says Steelheads General Manager Dorian Lair. “They give us lots of creative pathways and options based on our original concepts and ideas. Not only that, but they help us make our kits available to fans at a very reasonable price.”

Tackle

The “Tackle” Kit is a homage to fishing on the rivers of Snohomish County. Various hooks and lures form a pattern in the background and rope piping on the chest and sleeves conjure images of boats tied to docks. All of this is presented in “Pacific Beach Tan” shades and black accents. It’s the first time the third official Steelheads color has come to the front on a jersey. The club is teasing the kit online right now. “Tackle” is slated to be worn by the Men as they compete outdoors in the Cascadia Premier League this year.

“Tackle” will have a sponsor on the chest that will be announced soon.

Molten Hex

The Steelheads Women will compete this summer outdoors in the Cascadia Premier League. Currently the Fish are playing in the Northwest Premier League Indoor. The “Molten Hex” kit will debut this summer and then carry over as another option for the indoor team to go along with the Black and Magenta shirts they are wearing now.

“Molten Hex” kits are sponsored by Capstone Home Loans and El Paraiso Mexican Grill Snohomish.

“Molten Hex” gets back to the very roots of the team. The original kits contain hexagonal elements with Steelheads Orange and Granite Falls Black. These kits feature a striking blend of various orange shades of Hexagons. The fish “scales” shimmer and show strength and action.

Both shirts will be fully revealed as the outdoor seasons get closer and both are expected to be available on pre-order for the general public.
