The Steelheads Foundation: For The Community

Established in 2017, The Steelheads Foundation, formerly known as “The Snohomish County FC Steelheads,” is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Foundation dedicated to serving the community. With over 200 members, including players, staff, coaches, and volunteers, the foundation operates across Snohomish County, the second-largest county in the state. The foundation runs four teams: Men’s Indoor & Outdoor and Women’s Indoor & Outdoor. The players hail from diverse backgrounds, including former and current pros, collegiate athletes, youth club participants, and recreational players.
The Steelheads Foundation’s mission goes beyond the field. It provides youth and adults with free or subsidized professional training, facilities, technology, and products, with a special focus on BIPOC youth and adults from lower socio-economic backgrounds. By offering a critical outlet for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and providing extracurricular activities, the foundation plays a crucial role in building a stronger and more vibrant community.
Additionally, the foundation supports athletes looking to elevate their skills and experiences to the next level. Through exposure and leadership training, The Steelheads Foundation helps navigate the competitive athletic landscape, offering services such as marketing and promotion, content creation, networking, and coaching clinics.
