With an solid background in coaching and a passion for the game, Gamache brings experience to the Steelheads, promising a continued era of exhilarating soccer ahead for The Fish.

A Storied Journey: From Northwest University to The Steelheads

Ryan Gamache’s journey in the soccer world is nothing short of inspiring. Having played for the men’s soccer team at Northwest University from 2012 to 2016, Gamache has a connection with several past and present players, and coaches at Northwest. His time with the university team provided him with valuable insights into the nuances of the game, as well as the ability to foster a winning culture.

Transitioning from the collegiate level to the high school scene, Gamache took on the role of Head Boys Soccer Coach at King’s High School from 2017 to 2022. During his tenure, he not only achieved success on the field but also left a lasting impact on the players he mentored. Under his guidance, the team showcased a remarkable blend of skill, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The culmination of his experiences led Gamache to his current position as the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Everett High School, a position he has held since 2023. His dedication to the sport and commitment to player development have continued to shine, making him a respected figure in the local soccer community.

A New Chapter Unfolds: Gamache Joins The Steelheads

Now, as the newest addition to The Steelheads, Gamache is ready to embark on a new chapter in his coaching career. His enthusiasm is palpable as he shares his thoughts on the exciting opportunity that lies ahead.

“I’m very excited to be coaching the Steelheads this upcoming season. The opportunity to coach soccer at a higher level does not come around often, and I’m eager to get started. Dorian Lair and the Steelheads management group have Snohomish County going in a great direction, which will provide me with every opportunity to build a team that is competitive and exciting to watch.”

Gamache’s words reflect not only his eagerness to take on the challenges at Snohomish County but also his appreciation for the groundwork laid by the club’s previous coaching staff, including Dorian Lair, Danielle Strumbeta, Purav Bhatt, Britta Bhatt, Joel Childs, Sandra Agbotse, and past coaches and staff who has played a pivotal role in steering Snohomish County in the right direction.

How to Register for Tryouts

For details on tryout pre-registration, make sure to follow on on social @snocofc. Tryouts are going to take place at the end of march with final details coming in the next week.
